Matthew's Passions

Adventure, travel and the outdoors sit at the centre of Matthew’s world. From hiking challenges and travel experiences to outdoor adventures, lifestyle content and high-energy challenges, his content reflects the things he genuinely lives and enjoys. He is also an amateur singer-songwriter, trained in acting, a huge football fan, and a regular runner and padel player.

Alongside this, purpose is equally important to him. Matthew is passionate about mental health, grief awareness and encouraging younger people to speak more openly about how they feel. Having experienced personal loss, including losing his grandmother to cancer during lockdown and seeing the impact of suicide within his community, he speaks openly about emotional wellbeing and positive male role modelling.

He regularly works with schools and youth audiences, recently took part in a 12-hour Talkathon for Andy’s Man Club, and is one of the first guests on their new podcast. He is also fronting Marie Curie’s Beat the Trails Hadrian's Wall hiking challenge in memory of his grandmother this summer, combining adventure with meaningful fundraising and advocacy.
